Pochi minuti fa ho ricevuto una mail (ovviamente falsa) che a prima vista sembra notificare la scadenza di un dominio, tuttavia indica il bisogno di rinnovare una fantomatica “search engine registration”, intesa – suppongo – come l’aggiunta del sito ai motori di ricerca.

L’indirizzo riportato è Long Island City, NY. In realtà Long Island City è un quartiere del Queens, non una città.

Molti siti riportano questa stessa mail, e la notifica sembra giungere soprattutto (se non soltanto) per i domini .ORG.
